Duration

Delivery
Kuala Lumpur office or remote across ASEAN
Fees
Fixed engagement fee from MYR 28,000

Who this is for

Finance leads and product analytics owners who need one defensible story about subscription revenue performance — for a board pack, lender update, or internal plan freeze. Typical clients run consumer or B2B apps with trials, renewals, and multi-currency billing.

Result you leave with

A reconciled view of booked recurring revenue against active paid cohorts, a punch-list of leakage and recognition risks, and a short briefing deck your teams can reuse. We also leave the working worksheets so your analysts can rerun the joins after we leave.

Scope included

  • Inventory of plan catalogue, coupons, trials, and proration rules for the audit window
  • Join of billing invoices/credit notes to product event identifiers where available
  • Cohort retention and reactivation paths that affect cash collections
  • Recognition timing notes where deferred revenue and cash receipts diverge
  • Closing memo with severity-ranked findings and recommended next checks

Scope excluded

  • Statutory financial statement audits or assurance opinions
  • Live access credentials stored on our systems after the engagement
  • Implementation of billing or analytics tooling
  • Ongoing monitoring retainers (see Quarterly Revenue Health Review)

Provider and process

Senior auditors from EnergiCore Digital lead the work from our Kuala Lumpur office, with optional on-site days at your Ampang-area or regional offices. Process: scoping call → data room checklist → source reconciliation → findings draft → closing briefing.

Preparation

Export invoice-level billing data, refunds/chargebacks, plan change logs, and the analytics event tables used for “active subscriber” definitions. We provide a field list before kickoff.

Constraints

We need read-only exports or warehouse views; we do not require production write access. Incomplete months can still be examined, but findings will be labelled as provisional.

Next step

Request an audit briefing with the months you want examined and your billing provider name.
