Quarterly health reviews without restarting from zero
Once definitions are frozen, a lighter seasonal pass can catch drift before it reaches the lender pack.
Full audits are heavy. They should be. After definitions are documented, though, many teams only need a seasonal check: re-run the worksheets, flag drift, brief both rooms for ninety minutes.
We recommend locking three artefacts at the close of the first engagement:
- The paying-cohort definition
- The invoice grain and credit handling rules
- The list of charts allowed in external packs
Each quarter, compare new months against those artefacts. When a coupon or tax change appears, decide whether to amend the freeze or treat the month as an exception. That rhythm is quieter than rediscovering the same proration bug every September.
If your product ships across ASEAN markets, include currency and tax remapping in the quarterly checklist even when “nothing changed” — remappings tend to arrive without ceremony.
